I really wish I could figure out how to post a cute font with a cute banner instead of this dull boring stuff. I apologize ya"ll.
We finally got the engagments taken. Due to a few cancelations...thank you mother nature! Emily did a FANTASTIC job. I am very happy with how they turned out. In fact, I like so many of them I am having a hard time deciding which ones to use for our invitations. Of course I cant share my decision with you guys, you must be surprised when you recieve yours. However, I cant resist sharing a few of my favorites:
&&& i could go on and on and on really. But you all get the idea. We are headed down to Richfield this weekend to create our announcements! Im so STOKED. I just want this wedding to get here already.
Speaking of wedding: Have you all marked "Busy" for May 28th in each of your calenders. We hope that ya'll can share our special day with us.
I wanted to shout a little thank you to everyone who is helping with the wedding plan: My Mother, who is stressed to the max but secretly having SO much fun with it all at the same time :). Austin's mom Diane, for helping us make the invitations. Carol and Donna who are getting everything situated with the reception and Diamond Z. Anna Heywood, my salt lake wedding planner/co-workers wife. && of course a special special thanks to Ren and Ree for letting us get married at their beautiful palace!!
Here is a little sneak peak of my colors:
Yes i know it seems crazy. BUT its going to be so amazing. When i first told my mom that i decided to do a "peacock" themed wedding she about died. I remember her saying over and over again..."Your kidding right". It took 2 pictures (if that) to make her realize how elegant, unique, and fun these colors really were. Trust me, it has been such a great experience working with these colors and feathers for our decorations.
For my cake, im doing a topsy turvey. For those of you who dont know what that is, please look below. Im SO excited for this thing. Yes Yes Yes the majority of it is fake, you gotta make it look good right? Plus who eats the cake anyways? You just shove it in eachothers face and its over. Thanks to Josi, Austin's brothers women (who we claim will soon be a sister-in-law :) ) and her amazing skills, she has been designated as the cake maker. She was kinda upset with me at first because once i saw her awesome cake pictures i demanded she make ours. We love you Jos and thanks so much for putting up with me and my wants :).
Now of course this particular cake DOES NOT go well with our colors. But you get the "topsy turvey" idea! <3.
To sum things up, i have officially bought the grooms ring. Its so cool and i know he'll love it because he saw it in the store and said, "If you dont get me that exact ring then im not wearing a ring at all." Boys... there worse then girls sometimes :).
This is such a long post. Maybe by next post ill have figured out how the heck to make my fonts fun and cute. And make my banner (name and picture thingy) cute as well. Peace out.
