bORn aMERICAn*

Aust and I went to Salina to celebrate the big holiday this year. Salina ALWAYS has such a great 4th of July celebration. I must say this was one of the best ones yet.

-I got to shake hands with John Beck, the quarterback for the Washington Redskins :)

-I got to take Aussie (our pup) to her first parade

- We went to the lake and threw Ang and Ty off the wave-runner

- I won the majority of the horse race bets amongst our families

- I won the most bug bites contest

-We had a hell of a horseshoe tournament

- We experienced the BEST firework show ever

-We watched some crazy professionals do some dirt bike tricks

- I picked Robbie out of peas in the garden

- && We got to spend about 5 days with our wonderful family!

Aust isnt much of a picture guy... all I wanted was one "good" picture of us on the 4th to have for keepsakes. It was our first 4th of July married.. memorable right? This is how many times it took to FINALLY get one I approved of...

FINALLY ONE I APPROVED...

Here is a bit of the AWESOME firework shoe at the Salina Rodeo....
THANKS BABY FOR MAKING MY DAY SO GREAT! I LOVE YOU

FMX.

Below is a clip from the crazy FMX riders that came to Gunnison to put on a show! and THEY WERE AWESOME...

My BiRtH cOnTrOl :)

I was so excited when Shalon and Neil asked me to babysit Kai for almost a whole week! She truly is my favorite little munchkin EVER. I missed out on so much of her fun-ness when I lived up north, so I have been looking forward to spending quality time with her ever since Aust and I moved back (only till August). We definitely had a BLAST! I must say that i am her ultimate favorite! ;). We bonded for hours. We laughed, cried, threw temper-tantrums, took naps, well...you name it we probably did it! I even took her to Wal-Mart. For only the second time! I felt guilty afterwards, but we came out with some cute pj's and a new purse for her to carry around! I wouldn't of traded our weekly moments for the world. BUT I will say one thing, you don't come across better birth control than this. ;) I love you Kai and am so proud of all you have accomplished. I'm here for you always. xoxo

Below is some of fun-filled adventures while i have been home. Cant help but post them.

I LOVE YOU TO THE MOON AND BACK

GOD BLESS the 222

As of one month ago, I married into one of the greatest families a girl could ask for. They have all been so good to me and have welcomed me since day one. As they added another cousin and sister to the family, they sent 3 of them off to fight for our country. Cabe Jensen and Casey and Brett Christensen were deployed to Iraq June 4th. As the emotions were high, we all got together and said our goodbyes to the strongest most amazing boys our country could ask for.

We hope you all know how much we love each and every one of you! Thanks for fighting for our country. Be safe and come home soon!!!

The Siblings...Minus Ang. I FINALLY have brothers and sisters. WAHOO
The Boys family support. We all had matching tee-shirts (see below at the picture i stole from Dani's blog! Thanks Dan!)

the HONEYMOON**

Back to blogging. :) Seeing how I haven't blogged since before our wedding day, I have lots and lots of things to post. First, I wanted to thank everyone who came out and supported us on our big day! We are so blessed to have such great people in our lives. We got so many great gifts and we cant tell you all enough how much we appreciate all your thoughts and wishes as we begin our new life-long journey together.

I'm going to post a little piece of paradise next. Mind you,,, we forgot our digital camera! I know I know right? SO all the pictures shown below are from a disposable one. Let me tell ya, using one of these for a week makes you extremely grateful for technology! This picture posting is so you guys can 1/2 way enjoy our AWESOME honeymoon with us. The Bahamas were absolutely beautiful and Aust and I had the time of our lives. We met so many great people and we hope to go back and visit again one day. We stayed at Sandals for 5 nights and 6 days. We didn't leave the resort ONCE because there was so much to do. Thank you Sandals Emerald Bay for making our honeymoon so special!!

Caught the Rainbow on our way to the beach. Now that's how you welcome someone to the Bahamas!

Aust and I by the pool that looks out into the ocean
Giving salty/wet kisses...LITERALLY! ;)
Laying in the hammock (we did this often). Check out the palm trees in my *HUBBY'S* glasses! Rockin
Our friend Peter snapping a picture for us as we prepared for a long day in the sun!
And when we had enough of the sun, we came to the pool and read under the canopy!
I will give some credit to the disposable camera. We got some cool under-water pictures.
&& again.
Us chillin' in our private pool :). Aust quite enjoyed this. Not sure why I'm pulling this face, but i love the layout of the picture!
We loved going to get drinks at the "Drunken Pub"
Not thinking, I gladly raised my hand at one of the night activities. Sure enough i got called to come up on stage with "Action". I was quite embarrassed, and Aust thought it was just great. This is Action and I posing for the photographer. In case you were wondering...he did indeed go under those limbo poles that were on fire and standing on size 9 flip-flops WITH his volunteers on his lap. CRAZY!
These were our awesome Texas friends. We hung out with them almost every night. Trace was a pilot and Catie was a dance teacher at the high school. We loved them and are hoping we can meet up with them again sometime soon!

Overall we had a blast! We didn't want to leave and come back to reality. BUT gotta do what ya gotta do. Thanks Aust for making our week so special. I am looking forward to our Happily Ever After.
