The BM- No, not bowel movement...BATTLE MOUNTAIN

Ever since Austin started working for Legacy, he has been stationed in Battle Mtn, Nevada. Its located in Northern Nevada and has been named "The Armpit of America" TWICE by the New York Times. No lie. :) I dont think Austin was too excited about moving out there, but after a few months he repeatedly told me that he actually didnt mind it. He had met quite a handful of people that were very nice and they were always willing to help Aust and his crew out whenever needed.

I laughed when he told me he was enjoying it (other than the fact that I wasnt out there with him). I mean...the town was an armpit and the population was extremley low. In fact, I dont even know if theres a comparable city here in Utah. Are you picturing what I was picturing when i first heard about it? Scary right?

I finished school in July and was awaiting a response from the nursing school I was hoping to get in to when Austin asked me to move out to Battle Mountain with him for a few months. I was surprised with my response...seeing how I had heard how hickish it was haha. BUT I was tired of being away from my new husband and it just seemed so perfect and right to move out with him. So we loaded up the 5th wheel trailer will all my clothes and accessories and off we went! Yes, we lived in the 5th wheel for almost 3months. We had so much fun and I wouldnt of had it any other way!

I am so glad I did. We had so many amazing experiences AND I met so many wonderful people. I was so lucky to be able to land a job in Physical Therapy with some of the GREATEST therapists I have ever come in contact with. Lyle and Mary were so awesome and I cant thank them enough for hiring me for the short time I was out there. I also became EXTREMELY close to one of the nurses at the hospital, Shanna, who was always there for me, helped me in any way that she could, and was so fun to be around. She had the cutest 3 girls EVER and I loved getting to spend time with them.

Thank you Lyle and Shanna for everything you guys did for me in the BM. Im so glad I got to experience the things I did with you guys. Ill be back to visit soon! This will be a journey Austin and I will never forget!

Here's the cute girls I got to babysit! Kenz, Krys, Liv

the WEDDING/RECEPTION

So... On the 28th of this month, Austin and I will have been married for 5 months!! CRAZY! It's amazing how fast time flies when your having fun with your best friend. These last months have been so adventurous for us! Which is how it should be for newlyweds right? ;). We have been living in Battle Mtn, Nevada!!! Yes, believe it or not Aust talked me in to moving out to BFE with him. & I couldn't of been happier when I got out there! Ill give more details on that adventure in another post. For now...we have got to talk about our AMAZING wedding day.

We were married May 28th, 2011 at the Zaphs house...also known as Diamond Z ranch. And let me tell you... are day could not have been any better. After months of stress and worry, everything turned out just the way we wanted it and we have SO many people to thank for that. One of them including god. Here's why...
On May 27th 2011 god gave us a day of windy, rainy, cold weather.
On May 29th 2011 god gave us a day full of blizzard snow.
On May 28th you ask?? Well... fortunately god gave us a day full of blue skies, chirping birds, and degrees in the high 70's.

I must say...THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for sending good weather our way! That definitely completed our wedding package.

I also wanted to send a big thank to EVERYONE who helped Austin and I with our big day. We are so lucky to have all you amazing people in our lives. I'd like to send a special thanks to Renn and Ree for letting us get married at there BEAUTIFUL ranch! I could not have imagined us saying "I do" anywhere else. P.s. Chris Hone...THANK YOU for all the work you put in to make the ranch look absolutely fantastic! We would also like to thank Donna and Keith for letting us have our reception in their backyard and for all the hard work they did to make it look absolutely fantastic as well. And let me tell you...there was LOTS of work put in to that backyard. For example...

Aunt Donna got all the boys together in the family and requested that they ride up the mountain and cut down PERFECT pine trees. These pine trees were going to be used in her backyard...to hide the neighbors yard behind her, the telephone lines, etc. haha. Watching those boys grumble and argue is something I will never forget. Thank you Aunt Donna for caring so much about the looks of your yard for my wedding and for making it a good laugh ill never forget!

Aust, thank you for being everything I have ever wanted. You are such an amazing husband and I cannot imagine life without you. I am so lucky to have a best friend, a lifelong companion, and a man that is willing to do anything and everything for me. Your hard work does not go unnoticed and I hope you know how much I love you!!

The moral of this blog was given above. However I am going to give you all a little taste of our special day. I know it is probably too late to be posting wedding pictures on a blog that you are supposed to keep up on, but better late than never right?

So glad these beautiful and handsome kids were able to be part of our big day! We love you all so much!

OUR child...She's PLENTY for now. :)

& again, its me saying its been forever since I have blogged on our crazy, but amazing, life. HOWEVER... tonight I am going to catch everyone up... again! I have so much to blog about I'm not sure ill remember it all but Ill give it a shot. First things first, I need to let everyone know we have the CUTEST dog in the world. Both looks and personality! ;). Ok... so i may be a little bias, but everywhere we take her she gets PLENTY of compliments! Let me tell you though. She is just like a kid. This will satisfy Austin and I on the baby wanting for a long while! So...Ill give you all a little taste of our hectic, fun, wears everyone out but gotta love her child.

Aussie Bulloch at her finest. She loves her "Chew Toys"

The FIRST vet visit. She was not real enthused!
Aussie makes herself at home over to the neighbors...She's even brave enough to steal Sammy's bed...& take a nap in it!
Had quite the laughing moment when we caught her sleeping on her back with all fours in the air!!
Austin likes to call this "The Brett Ear".. she's taking after her cousin Brett Christensen :)
My mom likes to say "She is definitely an Adam's...Cant miss out on any excitement so she's gotta keep one ear open"
At their finest.
&& again... by the way...I LOVE this picture.
One last time... let me get an AWEEE :)
Sending a picture to Grandma (Bonnie) Bowler
Whenever Aust was gone Aussie got the privileged of sleeping with her mother... and let me tell you she is WORSE than a human being. She sleeps completely sideways and hogs the covers at the same time. I have proof!

A Little fun with the Iphone App. haha
What a good traveling partner... sometimes.
Even though, at times, we get frustrated with things you do.. WE LOVE YOU more than you know Aus! Thanks for coming in to our world and making it so fun for everyone. Its no lie... a dog is a mans best friend!
